Businesses and companies are normally for profit, but there are some companies who have good Corporate Social Responsibility. Below I have shortlisted Top 8 of company/business that I think is the most exemplary.
8. TOMS Shoes
The entire company was founded on the idea of giving back. For every pair of shoes sold, another pair is donated to a child in need. More than 10 million pairs of shoes have been donated, and that charitable effort has now extended to vision care for kids.
For these companies and many others, business isn’t all about the bottom line. They make strides to be a caring part of the community and help out those who live in less fortunate circumstances. They’re companies that know how important Corporate Social Responsibility can be to others.
My thoughts: I really like this idea that for every pair of shoes sold, another pair is donated to a child in need. This way consumer will know that by buying a new pair of shoe from the company, somewhere out there, there will be a kid without any shoe benefit a pair of shoe because of you.
7. Tyson Foods
Tyson Foods offers another example of a major company tying its corporate social responsibility efforts to its core mission. Tyson has committed its brand to efforts to relieve and ultimately end childhood hunger, and in the past few years been integrating social media into its hunger relief efforts.
Tyson connected with the Social Media Club and began a string of extraordinarily smart and effective efforts to enlist the community. For example, it launched a campaign in Austin in which it agreed to donate 100 pounds of chicken to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas for every comment posted on its blog. They received 658 comments in two hours and loaded up two trucks filled with chicken for the hungry, Beth said. They repeated the success in Boston and San Francisco, launched a user-generated video contest in Minnesota and sponsored a day of service for its social media team.
My thoughts: Personally, I think that it is a great idea to feed the hungry. Using social media to raise awareness for the needy is a great idea, this way more people will be aware of the situation some people are facing.

My thoughts: I felt that Nu Skin is really making a difference, there are hungry children’s are there being fed because of their efforts really touched me. There had even surpassed 350 million donated meals to needy children. These meal are not just any ordinary meal they are nutrient-rich meals which will help kids to have energy to study in school.

Customers of cosmetics company Out of Africa do more than just purchase high-quality shea-butter skin care products; they also help improve the quality of life for West African women and children. A portion of Out of Africa’s proceeds is donated to organizations that provide education and medical care to children, and the company regularly donates to women’s cooperatives that create jobs in West Africa.
My thoughts: Education and medical care is largely deprive in Africa, so consumer will be glad to know that every purchase they made actually a portion of it is donated to organizations that provide education and medical care to children. My thoughts:
Global malnutrition is a crisis in many countries, Rainbow Light helps fight global malnutrition with its supplements through Vitamin Angels. They also uses 100 percent recycled and recyclable BPA-free packaging, so you don’t have to worry about damaging the environment when purchasing their products.

Very often the idea of “good corporate citizens” can seem like a concept that is completely removed from our day-to-day realities. Sure, mega-corporations can have volunteer programs or philanthropic arms that focus on big-picture issues, but that seems so highbrow. If that is how you think, then take a look at Target. While many shoppers may think of it as just another big-box retailer, Target is more than just a place to buy tires and milk.

My thoughts: I hope that in the future more companies will adopt Target’s method of doing good. 5 percent of its profit actually goes to local communities and thus benefiting more people.

Microsoft is another major company that takes great effort in giving back. The company was even named the best at Corporate Social Responsibility by the Reputation Institute. One way Microsoft is helping out is through its annual Employee Giving Campaign, where employees attend fundraising events for nonprofit organizations. The campaign has been held every year since 1983 and has raised more than $1 billion in contributions to more than 31,000 organizations.

Overall: In a nut shell, seeing all these contributions people make to make the world a better place really touches me. There are people who live a the third-world country in need help. I felt that this is a great way to give back to the community.
I think have good social corporation responsibility is important in every company. Having that, will really influence others to do the same , hence, making the world a better place to live in, Being selfless and care about other not just for profit but it is basic humanity and this way it really spread the love around the world.
